Triathlon. An endurance event consisting of swimming, cycling and running quickly and distances. A physically and mentally demanding sport designed to test an athlete's commitment, patience and passion of pain.

For me it is something that gives an immense pleasure. It's hard work, very competitive and can be stressful, while challenging, exciting, fun and exciting. It is an independent, socially inclusive sport, which requiresSelf-discipline, physical training and knowledgeable tremendous nostalgia. The last triathlon allows potential burn calories to build quad rider, swimmer abs and give you a runner up. With all the expected and toenails, missing, chaffed legs, helmet hair do and perhaps the occasional sea snake encounters.

In my opinion, the triathlon is really a metaphor for life. It may be lengthy, it is possible that a short, joyful and sorrowful timesTimes. Along the way to see beauty and to see you suffer. There are uphill and coast downhill. Sometimes you will do better than we hoped, and sometimes not. You can drop or an apartment now and then leave, but you can be sure that someone to feel pity and stop to help you rest. While it is important, is the sole responsibility of you over the finish line, but there are always friends and family along theSidewalks, and joy.

The triathlon is the goal of all time. Ideally, you must swim, cycle and walk most of the time, but always through the courses offered and as quickly as possible. Apart from the physical training there is really a lot of organization is always ready for a race in question. While swimming, bike racing and training the meat of the program, triathletes must also practice suit shed as quickly as possible, the installation ofto change the bike and shoes are not suspended during the execution of all these things in the right order. This may explain why so many triathletes are type A personality

Triathlon comes in many different distances. The most popular are the Sprint, Olympic, Half Iron and Ironman. The Sprint Triathlon (aka puke difficult because of the short duration or intensity of extreme known) consists of a 750m swim followed by a cycle of 20 km and then a 5 km race. Since the paths are short, theThe intensity is high, and ideally all three events at a higher level of effort are carried out.

The Olympic distance is the most popular and starts with a 1.5 km swim followed by a bike 40 km and 10 km race.

Half iron, half the length of an Ironman with 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycle ride and 21km (marathon, half-length).

The Ironman, which is probably the most famous, is also the longest from a 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike and 42 km, marathonthemselves.

When it comes to choosing a length, is basically just "different strokes for different folks" comes from. Personally I'm a fan of the Sprint Triathlon, because I really like to go very fast! This distance allows me, in full, made all-out effort for a short period. The Olympics is for me, because although not as hard as Sprint, it would be faster than iron or Half Iron. The iron and the Half Iron is extremely long and require an extraordinary ability toresistance. Imagine a 3.8 km swim in open water immediately filled by a hot, long bike ride, the distance from Los Angeles to San Diego immediately followed, all while sitting on a very small, hard seat. Once done, the hurry and change your shoes because you've finished a marathon! Wow! That takes some serious passion and devotion. But if you have any triathlete or Ironman competitors to speak at any distance for that matter, probably say that live for it! L 'The training and discipline is a way of life, almost an addiction.

Have you ever thought? It 's a great sport and a true test of physical strength, mental and emotional. If triathlon is something you never thought to do, I recommend! You learn a lot about yourself and feel the deep confidence that comes with the finish line! Most communities offer a mini-tri or "Try a Tri" for beginners feet wet (pun intended) of interest. The mini-tri is usually half the length of the shorter sprint enough to see how sport fits before it is too. Keep it fun and try not to take things too seriously, which is often easier said than done. Just focus on the completion, not time on the clock. Check with your local running store, sports shop or sports clubs for details on how to get started in the world of triathlon!
